#43 They Say...

...That behind each song lies a story. I must say that it rings true.

And even though the story may not be something that everyone relates to personally, with each story brings emotions; Anyone can relate to emotions.

All I want to do is find a way back into Love...

And I thought the song Way Back Into Love was catchy.
After watching Music & Lyrics, it's completely stuck in my mind.

I could use some direction,
And I'm open to Your directions.

Now I feel like writing a song.

#42 @_@ List

Aside from Shaggy Dog (that movie that I went gaga over while everyone else dismissed as regular Disney fare); this is the next big thing on my watch-list. And trust me, it isn't going to be regular movie fare either, with title sequences are more reminiscent of teeny bopper television series than feature length films;

May I present, the (so far) one and only: Juno.

In summary, the titular character, Juno, gets pregnant at the start of the film, setting on a chain of events that culminate into the decisions she makes when her child is born; going through issues like emotional maturity and adoption.

The first thing that one notices at the start of the film are the sketchy title sequences with which cast and crew are introduced, as well as the repeated occuring of a group of runners, who serve as a certain motif (to not spoil the plot I shan't delve deeper).

I liked the way the plot expands in depth of the adoption process and probes questions about the (to-be) adoptive parents, as well as Juno's relationship with a certain foster parent, who cares for her and knows her better than Juno thinks.

Soundtrack-wise, while the movie doesn't have pitch-perfect and vocally powerful singers and guitarists, it is a refreshing break from the commercially and professional cut soundtracks of a certain *something-wood*. For once I see the music complement the film by becoming a part of its flavour. Unlike Titanic and its theme song, My Heart Will Go On.

With all that's said, I think it's best if you watch the movie here and judge for yourselves. There are six parts. :)

#41 Life's Simple Pleasures

Eating Corn Flakes with Milo at 1am *in the morning*.

And thank you all for smsing me and msning me to ask how I am after hearing about my unfortunate encounter with the spoilt rice.

And thank you Emily for getting me the stomach medicine. I shall consume them *tomorrow*.

O_o

I guess it's just me, but even after that bad stomach I still *still* feel like eating. =/

Ah well, my neural facilities have taken to a holiday today, so I'll stop this post *here*.

*Takes back the full-stop*

#40 Landed.

Ore sanjou. I have arrived. Courtesy of Momotaros; Kamen Rider Den-O. The series is ending in two episodes. I'm sad. =/

Grounded like a bird with clipped wings. Or Egg Ultraman without the egg (source of power).

I hate roller coaster rides.

I don't have much of a brain to use to blog.

I'm just doing this for the sake of the existence of my blog.

p.s. To all the bewildered faces; Egg Ultraman is my new nickname in Hope RP.

#38 So Many Updates

Nostalgia.

Went back to my secondary school blog, listened to Hero by Enrique Iglesias, read the tags by my secondary school friends, online blog buddy and little cousin Evelyn.

We're all grown up, but it reminded me of the time when we were closer and then grew apart. I guess I ain't that good at maintaining relationships and all, platonic ones I mean. Seems like I so easily forget.

And that's where my blog comes in. To remind me of the good times and more importantly, the people in my life. Experiences are but experiences in a moment of time.

People are the ones that last longer than a moment. God makes them last an eternity.

My granny's asleep.

Soon, when I leave house for my test, CE talk and video editing, it will be her and the four white walls.

For nostalgia's sake:

Hero by Enrique Iglesias

Let me be your hero

Would you dance, If I asked you to dance?
Would you run, And never look back?
Would you cry, If you saw me crying?
And would you save my soul, tonight?

Would you tremble, If I touched your lips?
Would you laugh? Oh please tell me this.
Now would you die, For the one you love?
Hold me in your arms, tonight.

I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I will stand by you forever.
You can take my breath away.

Would you swear, That youll always be mine?
Or would you lie? Would you run and hide?
Am I in too deep? Have I lost my mind?
I dont care... You're here, tonight.

I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I will stand by you forever.
You can take my breath away.

Oh, I just wanna to hold you.
I just wanna to hold you.
Oh yeah.
Am I in too deep?
Have I lost my mind?
Well I dont care... You're here, tonight.

I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I will stand by your forever.
You can take my breath away.
I can be your hero.
I can kiss away the pain.
And I will stand by you, forever.

You can take my breath away.
You can take my breath away.

I can be your hero.

Wonderful nostalgia. Too bad I ain't a superhero. =P

#37 4am Update

A big LOL!

I just found a Hand of Justice. Had extra APs in my Battlestations account and thought I'll just use the spare points to see what I could get. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found the best missile weapon (currently) in the game. You know what's the biggest bonus? I only need 2 more levels to use it. And it costs at least 3 times of what cash I have right now. That's like close to 750k gold. (To give you all a better time wondering how much that is, each time I find an NPC (Non-playable character) to fight during exploration, I get 1k gold *if* I sink it.

Wahahaha. OWNED. Zomgwthbbq.

Ken, you've been nerfed, bro. =P
