#48 I O No

It's obscene. The amount of pressure my brain exerts with each passing day.

The harder I try, the nearer to oblivion I become.

I'm damn weak eh.

So damn weak.

And sorry for avoiding calls/smses. I couldn't help it.

Guess I'm going for a walk later. Alone.

#47 A Single Word, A Hundred Hooks, A Thousand Fabrications, Ten Thousand Lies Part 3

And a little some time for myself to blog.

We need to get personal soon.

Real. Soon.

*Nods head gravely*

I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell,
I know right now you can't tell.
But stay awhile maybe then you'll see,
A different side of me.

I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired,
I know right now you don't care.
But soon enough you're gonna think of me,
and how I used to be.

#46 A Single Word, A Hundred Hooks, A Thousand Fabrications, Ten Thousand Lies Part 2

Hi again. o_O

Oh and be thankful for that picture okay Jas?! It took up 12.5% of my total memory card space. Why? Find out later.

Why two posts you might ask? Well because I have too many photos to upload and there's this (sensible) limit of 8mb. And since its so late I'll tell you a little *joke* to keep the energy levels up.

My digital camera is a Canon A560 PowerShot with a pretty decent megapixel count (though I can't remember the exact number, it was pretty neat for something I got free).

The only problem?

It has 16mb worth of space. SIXTEEN GLORIOUS MEGABYTES OF SPACE. Which means 8 photos.

Ouch.

Even a film camera takes way more pictures than that. But back to the entry.

These those kids smiling happy there?

They are the non-emos. The majority of the RPians make up that category. Typical non-emos love to toothy grins and pose with innocent faces, though we all know they just want the *ahem* attention *ahem*.

Yeah well.

Non-emos also tend to stand out more when photos are taken and have the tendency to innocently decline, "No, I don't want to take any photos," then stand in front of the camera posing just as innocently *ahem* Ruth *ahem*. Non-emos somehow too, love the Victory sign (don't plagurise Churchill, he's already ... =/

<---He's just emo.

Jeff that is.

Shy of the camera.

I almost caught him unawares with my affair-uncovering, image-destroying photovoltaic-exploiting, lense-carrying thingamajig.

So what happened? I sort of took too long to get the camera out and he sort of took advantage of the chance to cover his face.

FINE. I'll get others who want their photo taken and sneak up on you another time. Remember Jeff, watch your back. =P

#45 A Single Word, A Hundred Hooks, A Thousand Fabrications, Ten Thousand Lies Part 1

Kin-chan is gone.
Ura-chan is gone.

Or so we Think. Because a good Den-O imagin doesn't stay down for long.

Wonder what I'm talking about?
Go here.

And guess what? To the right is a picture of some of the beloved people in Hope RP.

From left Chun Kwee (yellow shirt), Emily (white shirt), Jaslyn (brown shirt holding on to laptop bag), Jason drums (white shirt), Jeff (purple shirt).

Jeff's just shy, so he got his head cut off. I caught them by surprise as they alighted the shuttle bus to IMM. Mwahahahahaha was waiting for the chance only. Well now I got it!

Which brings me to the latest addition to my family. The Canon A560 PowerShot. My first (above SGD5, yes you read it right, S$5) camera.

And once the mini-RP gathering warmed up to the ocassional flashes of light, Chun Kwee promptedly made (insert descriptive word) face. I have the feeling that Jas was also posing, though because it was on Automatic (because I haven't read the Advanced User Guide) I couldn't get a properly composed shot.

So we walked around IMM looking for assorted goodies and I took a random picture --->

I dig bears. I love stuffed toys to the max. If anyone visits me at my house, they'd sure not miss out the countless stuffed toys I have on my bed.

That's not all, I still have loads in the cupboard.

Which brings me to my last photo for the entry.

And who better than to showcase by my beloved granny?

My one and only granny, resting in her beloved chair.
--->

Wanna see her spike her hair?

Stay tuned. =P

#44 Today I Found Out Something

1/3 of my family doesn't want to live on any longer. o_O"! Don't ask because I won't elaborate.

And my family's finally got our first digital camera. My mom's all hyped up and I'm going like, "So what? We've never had that before and we probably won't need it."

But seriously, I hope I can use it. You see, because *revelation of my family* everything that anyone has in the house (that is not something private, like toothbrush or braces or retainers o_O) is public property; anyone from the family can use it as we wish. So I might not get the chance to use it too often.

On the other hand, I just want pictures taken, I don't actually want to handle the camera. Who cares about the camera. I'm in to story writing and film making. *_*

Which is not to say that I'm good at either. =/

On a more positive note, during the days I had my unintended preoccupation with the toilet bowl, I watched *quite* a few movies; Two of which I have pointed out in earlier posts as Juno and Music & Lyrics.

I watched Juno because it sounded like Ju-on and everybody knows that I *almost* hate Horror movies because I can't take them. Figured since I could control when I could stop the movie, so I'd give it a try. It turned out to be of a different genre that I was expecting -_-, though it was a good movie.

And Music & Lyrics? Because of the theme song. It was g0oOd. And did I mention the eye candy in the movie? Bet I didn't. Anyway this movie reminded me of the time I was really passionate about writing, and how the computer overtook my attention. It's a pity; I still love to write but can hardly find the motivation to.

Superman: Doomsday was pretty neat too, even though the voice actress for Lois Lane sounded abit too raspy for my liking. And Superman seemed to have taken steriods or something. Perhaps the time he saved on travelling he spent on the gym; he looked two times bigger than the average Metropolis citizen. Overall the animation was nothing fantastic, but it did work in a nostalgic way.

And... I BROKE MY RECORD for Crazy Taxi on Facebook's MindJolt App! o_O

Sometimes I just want to flow within time and watch the world go by its business.
Pretend I am not a part of it all.

#43 They Say...

...That behind each song lies a story. I must say that it rings true.

And even though the story may not be something that everyone relates to personally, with each story brings emotions; Anyone can relate to emotions.

All I want to do is find a way back into Love...

And I thought the song Way Back Into Love was catchy.
After watching Music & Lyrics, it's completely stuck in my mind.

I could use some direction,
And I'm open to Your directions.

Now I feel like writing a song.

#42 @_@ List

Aside from Shaggy Dog (that movie that I went gaga over while everyone else dismissed as regular Disney fare); this is the next big thing on my watch-list. And trust me, it isn't going to be regular movie fare either, with title sequences are more reminiscent of teeny bopper television series than feature length films;

May I present, the (so far) one and only: Juno.

In summary, the titular character, Juno, gets pregnant at the start of the film, setting on a chain of events that culminate into the decisions she makes when her child is born; going through issues like emotional maturity and adoption.

The first thing that one notices at the start of the film are the sketchy title sequences with which cast and crew are introduced, as well as the repeated occuring of a group of runners, who serve as a certain motif (to not spoil the plot I shan't delve deeper).

I liked the way the plot expands in depth of the adoption process and probes questions about the (to-be) adoptive parents, as well as Juno's relationship with a certain foster parent, who cares for her and knows her better than Juno thinks.

Soundtrack-wise, while the movie doesn't have pitch-perfect and vocally powerful singers and guitarists, it is a refreshing break from the commercially and professional cut soundtracks of a certain *something-wood*. For once I see the music complement the film by becoming a part of its flavour. Unlike Titanic and its theme song, My Heart Will Go On.

With all that's said, I think it's best if you watch the movie here and judge for yourselves. There are six parts. :)

#41 Life's Simple Pleasures

Eating Corn Flakes with Milo at 1am *in the morning*.

And thank you all for smsing me and msning me to ask how I am after hearing about my unfortunate encounter with the spoilt rice.

And thank you Emily for getting me the stomach medicine. I shall consume them *tomorrow*.

O_o

I guess it's just me, but even after that bad stomach I still *still* feel like eating. =/

Ah well, my neural facilities have taken to a holiday today, so I'll stop this post *here*.

*Takes back the full-stop*
